RESTAURANT DIRECTOR – HÉLÈNE DARROZE AT THE CONNAUGHT
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly talented and motivated Restaurant Director to lead the team at Helene Darroze at The Connaught – the outstanding 2-Star Michelin and 5AA-Rosette restaurant by Cuisiniere Helene Darroze.
Cusiniere Helene, one of France’s most distinguished chefs, takes her passion and cooking philosophy from her French Gourmet heritage; inspired by authentic regional and seasonal flavours and fine ingredients, Helene Darroze at The Connaught continues to take the gastronomic and guest experience into a new and exciting phase.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As Restaurant Director at Helene Darroze at The Connaught, you will lead and continue to develop a top performing team within an exceptional dining environment while maintaining all service standards relating to the Michelin guide and LQA & Forbes. Working closely with Helene, your restaurant management team and the kitchen brigade, you will hold a key role in continuing to develop the service and concept of this award-winning fine dining restaurant within one of London’s most exclusive luxury hotels. You will ensure that the revenue performance in line with budget expectations is achieved.
You will be an established and talented director with proven experience in managing and leading a team within a high profile dining environment. You will bring a natural flair to service to ensure a dining experience of the highest repute and your ability to lead a highly skilled restaurant team will position you as a senior manager within this high profile business.
A strong and natural ability to motivate, manage and develop a successful team and operation is essential. You will have a proven background within in a leading restaurant environment within a senior role where quality food, wine and ingredients are key priorities. An excellent and confident communicator, you will take a hands-on approach to your role and your team, with a focus on training, development and succession planning. Previous experience within a Michelin environment is essential for this role, and you will take a proactive role in relevant gastronomic food and wine associations. A sound knowledge of the London restaurant scene would be beneficial for this role.
